Chris,

I've got the XM version with the portable radio.  It
has a seperate antenna that works just fine inside the
trailer.  The chord is long enough that I can always
find a window to get it close to.  I also use it at
work.  I was doubtful about getting a reception with
just cinder block walls and no window anywhere near,
but I get good reception there as well.  Very happy
with it.
