Nope...

The stems can be changed at any time.

They'll have to re-balance the tires afterwards, but it's an easy job to 
install the metal valve stems. They have to deflate the tire and break the 
outside bead seal to get at the inside of the rim to mouint the new stem, but 
it's not hard and won't hurt the tires a bit.

Call them cheap peace of mind.
