I'm trying to keep my trailer as orginal as possible too, but I like 
natural ventilation so I know that I'd like the Fantastic Fan.  
However, you bring up a good point that as long as my original fan is 
still running, I should probably leave it alone.

I'm not crazy about the looks of the MaxAir covers, but if I 
installed one I'd sand it lightly and paint it silver, in an attempt 
to make it look factory.

I'd also save any old parts in case I sold to a purist that wanted to 
put everything back to original.
