You may not want to hear this, but caulking at random is probably in 
your future, Chasing leaks is boring and difficult, I think it is better 
to go over the whole trailer and re seal everything in sight.

If you are just worried about that leak, clean out all the old caulk you 
can with a non metallic scraper, clean with mineral spirits and re caulk 
the whole vent..
