Re: [A/S] Vintage Fun

The attitude of enjoying tinkering also helps when owning a recent Airstream.
There seems to always be something that needs attention. Some items that
come to mind is scraping and painting, calking, checking tire pressure, checking
battery fluid level, and checking and tightning loose items. I know that
there are lots of other minor items that don't come to mind at the moment. This
is not to complain about the quality of the Airstream, but any items with a
number of operating systems needs maintenance and preventitive maintenance, even
our one year old fixed base home.

Some items, such a repacking wheel bearings and checking brakes, are left to
a professional.

Our Airstream is a 1999 and we are now looking at replacing the carpet.
Still haven't decided what flooring material to go with, but are leaning toward
bamboo or cork.
