Thanks for the answers so far.  By the way, these are aluminum tanks, 
in good condition, and the valves don't have any type of level sensor 
on them.

Can anyone tell me the size or weight of these tanks when empty?  
Since the size doesn't seem to be stamped on the tank, if someone 
here knew for certain they had 30 lb aluminum tanks, all I'd need is 
an overall tank height and diameter so I could compare against mine.
