RE: [A/S] Electrical Question

Howdy Y'all:

We've just arrived in Bloomington, IN, traveling
through the rains of Texas and Arkansas. We have a
slide out, and that's where my question lies.

There was a big storm Friday morning before we broke
camp. After we had the slide out tucked away for the
day's trip I turned on the ceiling light using the
switch by the door. The slide out sort of jolted,
kind of like the motor engaged briefly. It happened
again yesterday, slide out in, when I turned on the
light over the galley. It doesn't seem to do this
when the slide is extended.

We're going to Jackson Center next week for some
warranty work, and want to put this on the list. My
question is how can I describe this without using tech
terms like thingie or jigger. I'm sure that it will
never happen while we are there, but I would at least
like to describe the occurrence in a way that they
will understand and enable them to trouble shoot the
problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Happy 4th to all!
