Re: [A/S] The International!

Not sure why you shouted that, but believe me... I know it. As I was reading
your post my furnace was running!!! It's 55 degrees out and raining. The
dampness was permeating the trailer and me so I had to put on the furnace.

After unhooking I went and registered downtown at the lansing center. That
was painless. Doug hadn't paid so it took him a bit longer. While I was there I
got paperwork to give Daisy so she can register easily since she left her
paperwork home. Thank heavens for computers.

Then we walked arond downtown for a few minutes. They have little cars on
corners painted up with different themes. One looked like a big fish.... the
placque said...
Car-p.

Then we went to Target so Doug could get a warm comforter and on to Kroger
for food.

I had to go into four wheel drive again to get back up here to the
trailer.... I'm going up and down the side of the hill, not the mud "roadway" it's worse
than before from all the trailers and the rain. I took a nap back here and
threw the furnace on to warm up the place.

My spot is Blue 3, Row 19. Not sure how they arrived at that. We are just
one of the many little clusters here at the airport. I did see clusters all
around at empty business parking lots too. Especially motorhomes that can't
possible get through the mud.

Coming in I felt like I was on one of Wally Byam's caravans to Mexico. I seen
photos of them bogged down in the mud. It looks like Woodstock with
Airstreams. <g> The nice thing is there's no mud up on this knoll... just tall grass.

The good news is my backyard is a couple of acres, plenty of room for the
party. The bad news...... by the time I have the party the grass will be so tall
we will have trouble seeing each other. I'm picturing that Henri Rousseau
painting with the big cat's eyes peering through the grass.....

After I wrote, before I sent this I got a surprise visitor.... our own
Charlie Burke and his wife Betty. What fun to see him finally after all these
years. He'll be at the party.
