That describes it quite well. That is one of those jobs that sounds 
easier than it turns out so give yourself lots of time. Be careful were 
you jack it up. Don't jack it on the axles, ever. The preferred jack 
point is aft of the rear axle on the main frame rail which is marked by 
a rivet line between the belly metal and the belly wrap which curves up 
to the rubrail on the side. Be sure to use a jack stand to support the 
frame.
You can use a screw driver but the blade needs to be wider. A brake 
adjustment tool has the wider blade and a cocked shaft that makes it 
easier to get in the hole. Turn the adjuster to tighten the brake and 
then back out each adjuster the same count. There is lots of discussion 
about the right count. Some like their brakes tight and go only 3-4 
notches. Others (like me) like them looser so that you can hear them 
operate so we go 10-12 notches.
Be sure you readjust your brake controller the very next chance as the 
setting will have changed.
