The rating is probably around 3000 lbs., however, it is dependent upon the
load being carried in the Motor Home.  The engine has very little to do with
the rating.  It is based upon the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of the Motor
Home.  This is critically effected by the tire ratings, axle ratings,
brakes, chassis etc.  The extra weight from the towed is due to the tongue
weight just like a trailer.  However, a much bigger problem is the braking
needed when the towed's total weight is added to the Motor Home.  Even a
small toad (Saturn) should have a separate braking system.
