We had a new A/C unit installed on another trailer in 2001.  In 2003 we 
took that trailer out west on a three week trip.  While at an RV Park, 
where the power was not quite up to snuff, the A/C quit on us.  When we got 
home we had our local dealer and an A/C shop check it out.  The consensus 
from both was a damaged compresser due to inadequate power.  Before the 
damage ocurred we had run that A/C unit about 10 times, so in our 
experience it didn't take much to fry the compresser.  Be careful...
