Hi Don and All,
I would vote for a Jordan Ultima 2020 anytime, but I am now becoming a fan
of the new Hensley Controller. I just finished a 500 mile trip to the Region
3 Rally this weekend using the Hensley controller with an upgraded
controller unit. It has the "Initial Brake Constant" setting and IT WORKS
VERY WELL. I had been quiet disappointed with the controller up until I made
that change just before this last trip. It now works as smooth as my old
Ultima 2020, but does not have any moving parts to ware out - I HOPE.
The Region 3 Rally turned out very well. My unit (Eastern NC Unit) fed the
entire crowd hot country biscuits, sausage gravy, sausage patties, and eggs
to order for breakfast on Saturday - there were almost 200 units, and
everyone showed up for breakfast that day. We started cooking a little
before 6:00 AM, and finished cleanup just before 11:00 AM. The full hookups
for everyone came in handy when the temp hit the low 90's in the afternoon
each day, but the weather was wonderful otherwise - a very good rally all
around.
