Chris - I saw an Airstream that had been owned by an elderly couple who'd
stored their A/S under a tarp when they quit traveling. After many years
they gave the trailer to their grandson who was going to try to restore it.
The outside skins on the trailer had absolutely horrible rub scars and mold
discoloration. Some other listees have spoken before of building some kind
of skeleton and then draping a covering of some description over that
skeleton, thereby keeping the covering from actually touching the trailer
skins. Good luck.
