RE: [A/S] Thermostat Question



Hunter, I have the same control and while there is an
8 degree spread that controls the fan speed when you
are on auto, 6 degrees to get the unit to run is way
too much.  Rule of thumb is 2 degrees over set point
with shut off of A/C when you are one degree below.  

I do notice that the thermostat is probably about 2
degrees off of actual air temp, but that's all
relative as far as I'm concerned.  I do not have to
wait for a six degree rise before the unit goes on
when I'm set to auto.
