Subject: Re: Tractor trip

It was a 9,500 mile trip which took 126 days. Started in Dalton, Ohio.
They started their trip last June 5 and arrived in Alaska August 1. On
August 10 they started their return trip and arrived home October 8.
They
pulled a what looks like an "Airstream" trailer for living quarters.
Tractor was a 1950 JD "A" They traveled at 13 mph and averaged about 100
miles per day. Only maintenance mentioned on the tractor was replacing
the
front tires at 1900 miles.

This information is taken from an article on pg. 24 of the latest issue
of
Farm Show magazine Vol.. 23, No 2, 1999.
