Re: [A/S] Yukon/Burb ?

Hi Hunter,

Actually, I'm ambivalent about it. I really enjoy the
F250, until I park it in town (lwb). It was wonderful
on the Bear Tooth Hwy, the Tetons, and the Rockies in
Colorado.

We're like you. We travel with our pet family, which
has grown to 3 parrots, a kitty, and a dog. I
replicated your backseat platform for the birds'
cages, the dog has her place on an extension over the
middle console, and the kitty - well she sits where
she damn well pleases. We do have a crate for the cat
when we are hooking up, and that goes between the bird
cage and the back of the front seat.

Now to answer your question. Space. We could carry
the cages in the rear and still have two back seats
for the dog - the cat is a cat. The additional
amenities of quadrasteer, and on-star make it even
more appealing. No diesel kills the deal though, for
me.

I am giving some thought to the Sierra though. I am
also thinking of just putting on a camper cover with a
fitting for the rear slide window. The only way my
wife will let her (tropical) birds travel inside a
camper is if they can get some a/c.

I guess there's also a little bit of a guy thing
involved in this process. My friend has something,
and I want one too.
