[A/S] Back to AL
I'm in VA Al. I have to pull my farm trailers down the Hiway most of the time and down
the interstate (85) to market in Farmville, VA or South Hill, VA. I have "Bumped" the
seals off (we call it) the farm trailers but I mark them first. I clean the outside with
emery cloth and put 'em back. So far, so good. I mainly want to look at brakes but
can't resist playing in the grease. Old geezers piddle too much:-) . A greasy bearing is
a good bearing to me. Never had one fail, maybe tomorrow. . . On the A/S, I have never
seen a dry bearing in the fifteen years I've owned it. Put 1500 to 2000 miles a year on
it, from one fishing hole to another. A Interstate is rare. Good luck Al.
