Easy to tow compared to what ?

I think the problem is that the cars that older Airstreams were being 
towed by were the great long heavy cars of our father's day, or my 
younger days truth be told. So the sales literature show the happy 
family with the family car. Which was a boat. Long, heavy,low, lots of 
gas guzzling power and stability. We don't make 'em like that any more. 
Now the muscle on the road are SUV's. Much shorter, much shorter wheel 
base, high center of gravity, and muscled for groceries and the soccer 
team, not 7,000 lbs of trailer.

Someone better than I at car numbers can go to town on the actual 
numbers, but I know that the 1960 Suburban that was my first car was 
nothing like the Nissan Pathfinder I drove before Darth Vader.

So when you say tow with a car, it needs to have specifics about it.

As for easy, I've only towed silage wagons, hay wagons, manure 
spreaders, silage choppers, horse trailers and boat trailers. The 
Airstream is easier.

I have a hunch that the right tow set up correctly adjustedis critical 
to the ease of towing, but a bicycle is still not an option.
