We are all crazy north of Buffalo you know. It's a condition brought on 
proximity anxiety. Our big brother to the south can be awfully 
intimidating, as nice as the average Yank is. I really appreciate  your 
concern for our  toque (aka stocking cap)  covered heads.
Can Am RV has been in business forever and their owner puts his 
expertise and savvy on the line every day both at the shop and in print. 
He definitely is a student and practitioner of the science and 
engineering of hookups. I'm not. He did the Reese hitch hook up of my 
30' International to my 89 Crown Vic. I believe it was done with all due 
consideration for safety and I feel confident when I use it within 
responsible parameters. These do not include bolting down the 401 at 80 
miles  an hour or sailing down mountains without  regard to approach speed.
There are all sorts of examples of hookups that are done to  "under 
powered or undersized vehicles" and history has demonstrated that it can 
safely be done if done correctly.
I still haven't been able to get a hitch  that will let me pull the 
International with the Jetta,  and even Andy at CanAm just chuckles when 
I bring the topic up.  Now that brings up the Schwinn question.........
