We had exactly the same scenario when we tried backing our 74 
International into a similarly configured driveway.
Solution was to place a few 2X4s or 2X6's in the gutter,  lessening the 
angle the driveway makes to the crown of the road. As long as you came 
as square to them as you can, you should have no problem.  I even 
thought of putting a sheet of plywood over the 2Xs because they do shift 
around as you pass over them, so take it easy.
