Re: [A/S] Honda generator

Patti -

I looked at the 3000 and comparable Yamaha as well as, the Honda 2000i and
Yamaha look a like.

Found more Honda dealers willing to deal. 3000i is way to heavy for you
and I to handle AND is light on the output if you want to go first class
with all toys running together.

I got two 2000i's , which together produce about 4000 watts and 35+
amps. Way Cool. Cost for two was less than the 3000i.

Sometimes I only run one but in the summer and cold winter in the boonies I
run both.

When I bought my two 2000i's I copied the best price off the Internet and went
to a local dealer and told him I was ready to buy today if he could meet
the price.

At that time the dealer was advertising $999.00 and I had a web page copy that
showed $824.00 plus freight and tax. I told the dealer I'd be willing to
pay $25.00 extra for his freight cost but since I was paying cash he needed
to throw in the tax, fuel stabilizer, parallel cables and a gas can. He did
all but the parallel cables which he discounted 25%.

So for $849.00 each I got two plus the tax
( 6.5% or $55.19 each = $110.28)and fuel can ($10.00)and stabilizer($5.00)
Saved $275.00 doing a little research and a little haggling.

You might give that a try?????
