If it works I would not replace it. I think they made the sealed 
refrigeration unit much better back then - they seemed to last longer than 
presently manufactured ones do. It might go on as long as you do.

Maybe there is a conversion kit they can add that will let it operate on 
110. All it takes is an electric heater unit up inside the flame tube area, 
along with a thermostat. Maybe one from a junker refrigerator could be fitted.

FYI: first couple of TT's we had in the '60's and '70's were gas-only 
refrigerators, and I don't remember them being a hassle in any way - they 
didn't use enough gas to be a problem. If my present refrigerator was 
gas-only, I don't think I would worry about it - just keep gas in the tank. 
Minor inconvenience.
