Re: [A/S] Questions about Lansing

Hi Hunter. We have traveled in the heat many times with the Scotties and
developed a few tricks to keep them cool. For what it is worth to yu and
others here are two ideas.

1. Fill a sunshower with crushed ice and cold water. We put it on an
insulation mat on the floor because in hot country the floor is the hottest
place in the vehicle.

2. If you carry a crate for your dog, usually this is for the smaller
breeds, that is made of heavy duty plastic, cover it with a insulation
blanket, one of those blue things, and fill a drinking bucket with crushed
ice. We buy stainless steel two quart buckets and hang them inside the
crates with clips. The combination of the ice, good for licking as well,
and insulation keeps the little guys cool.

3. We try to shade the sunny side of the Tow Vehicle with those blue
blankets as well to help us and the babies.
