Okay, here's what I do. I have *never* in 4 years fulltiming put fresh water 
in the fresh tank. I am only off the grid for about 2 hours on travel days so 
I don't need to carry water.

I never dump my black tank until it's almost full, and prefer to dump it 
after travel when it's sloshed around.... so I do travel with it full sometimes.  
I have alot of truck and never worry about the extra weight. 

I will travel with water in the grey tank if I know I'm going to dump the 
black enroute...... not full but enough to make a "chaser"
