[A/S] Wally W. - don't worry ....Wally B. never did

Hi Wally - welcome to the world of V.I.N. decoding etc.

As you have found out - it does not always make sense. Sometimes on purpose
(custom design orders - end of the year left-overs etc...) and then
sometimes it does not make sense due to a mistake.

It actually is an interesting area to research and make notes - if you have
the patience. (that is the secret)

In regards to RV's - the terms "streetside" and curbside" are often used to
determine which side you are talking about irregardless of which direction
you yourself(personally) are facing at the time of your discussion.

However...use caution....this works in North America and many parts of the
world...but not in those areas where driving is done on the opposite side of
the road!...(well it does...if everyone in the conversation is on the same
conversion page...)...and also for that matter....do not use this format
when thinking in terms of one-way streets! So you see...caution and logic
have to be considered....

Do not overlook the fact that Airstream has long been known for "building to
suit the customer" - so it's a good idea to put aside the idea that all
plans and designs and model names and model years...etc....etc...are written
in stone. Just when you swear something is "so"...and "only so"....someone
will pull up along side you in an "exception to the rule"....

If you are looking for landscaping options - try looking at the Shady Dell
website - they are in Bisbee, Arizona and they have fun with what they do.

Why not keep the Airstream "potentially mobile" and find a Sparton Manor to
anchor down to the mountain side you find!

Good Luck. RL
