Not sure why someone would recommend not using radials on a motorhome. 
Airstream changed to radials as soon as Chevy would put them on. A much 
better tire.
Because tires are a most important part of the safety of your motorhome on 
the highway don't let cost be the primary driver of which tire you choose. 
There is lots of information out there about durability rating and such that 
need to be factored in.
