[A/S] Classic Airstreams, Excella vs Limited Edition

I realize this might be a dumb question but I've noticed that since 
the early 1990's through present there are lots of advertisements for 
the sale of Excella and Limited Edition Classics.  Which one is top 
of the line or is there such a thing.  I saw one ad selling an 
Excella Limited Edition Classic Airstream and that really through me 
for a loop.  When did they stop making Excellas?  or are they still 
making them.  Anyone with any info on these subjects would be 
appreciated.
