Now that you mention it's use in a house, my friend, who has the PT in his 
Caravaner, also installed one in his newly constructed house. It does NOT 
work as well in the house and if I remember, he is frustrated with it. It 
took a long time for the hot water to reach a remote location from where it 
is installed. (worked better in the kitchen then in the master math) But, I 
can't recall any problems in the trailer with it's use.
