I don't bother with mine either. Probably because I spent so much time 
on boats.

Just to keep things clear, stabilizers are NOT strong enough to level a 
trailer. You should level the trailer first and then put down the 
stabilisers.  I once asked about putting electric leveler on my '73 and 
someone ( probably Charlie Burke ) said the frame couldn't support it. 
So we're stuck with the orange leggos.
