Greetings Jerry!

Subscribers to the VAL list were notified by the VAC Webmaster, Toby 
Folwick, that the website would be down for maintenance and server 
updates (no time-frame was mentioned in regard to the length of the 
down-time).  This was about 72 hours ago, and as these server issues 
often take longer than anticipated to remedy I suspect that the 
message that is being displayed is a "stock server error message" 
that will likely disappear once the server is re-launched.  I doubt 
that anyone actually received an E-mail as referenced by the "stock 
server error message".
