We put a piece of plywood between the twins then use one of the mattresses
from the upper bunk over the plywood. This creates a king size bed going
across the trailer so you never fall into a crack. The down side is that you
have to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom. You also have to break it
down slightly during the day. It does make a great bed though and you have
widows at both ends of the bed.
