RE: [A/S] NuTone Food Center

Check ebay for Nutone Food Centers and you would be surprised at how many 
people are selling these units.  The one in my '77 Excella had a broken 
switch so I contacted a company in Seattle, WA. for replacement parts.  I 
found them on a yahoo search.  They had a few blenders left, motors, on-off/ 
speed switches, etc.  I decided to check ebay and bought one in excellent 
shape.  Over the years I have hit ebay and seen many still in the box for 
sale and many that have been taken out of houses when people remodel.  It 
shouldn't be a problem to pick one up between $175-$250 for the power unit 
itself.  I have the blender and knife sharpener but have never used the 
knife sharpener.  Blender makes great Margarittas.
