jastarwal,
I saw where you listed the weight of your trailer.  Did you weigh your 
trailer on a scale?  Dry weights for 1971 ran from 3290 lbs. for an 18' 
Caravel to 4910 lbs. for a 31' Sovereign double bed.  Since I didn't see a 
length listed I'm wondering if you didn't list the max the trailer could 
weigh with all options, water and cargo.  My '77 Excella 500 dry wt. is 
5380,  but the GVWR max is 8100 lbs.  Just curious.
