Don - Unlike Hunter I found Dish to be unfriendly and Directv very helpful.

Several of my fellow RV'ers have recently switched to Directv from Dish for 
mainly billing problems and tech support.

My problem with Dish was the RV side, as a full timer I wanted the East 
West ABC etc.

I paid them they said I was programmed but never received them.  this went 
on for weeks. When I asked for a credit

It never came.  Finally gave up and went to Directv - To date - two years 
no problems .


Every ones experience will probably be different.  Pick the one with the 
best deal for you.
