Both my son and my nearly son-in law have driven Jeeps, the little ones. 
  Both of them found them to be money pits, needing many expensive 
repairs, being bad on gas mileage, and not very comfortable to drive for 
any length of time. I quess they did enjoy getting stuck and then 
getting un stuck ( I don't get it..)

No Jeep, no matter what is has for "extras" and no matter how "tough" 
its maketing image, should tow anything at highway speeds. And only very 
small things around town.

Someday vehicule manufacturers and dealers who lie about towing will be 
sued out of business. Meanwhile, don't let yourself be one of the 
statistics that make up a class action suit.

Watch a little kid trying to lead a big dog and you have a picture of 
someone towing with too short and light a truck.
