Thanks Lauren, that might work.  Actually, there's plenty of room at 
the top of my driveway to do the pull up & turn around drill I 
described, I just don't think I can do it in gravel, even with an 8" 
tire on the tongue jack.  But if I pave it (which is on the to-do 
list for this spring anyway) I think I'll be able to manage it.  But 
if not, pushing will definitely be worth a shot.  I could also pull 
it up and then push it back down - that might be safest all around.
