Re: [A/S] GFI Outlets

Hunter,

If you check in the breaker panel you will probably find one circuit
with a "Test" button. That is your ground fault circuit interrupter
(GFCI or just GFI). It should handle any outlets within three feet of a
water tap or the great outdoors (e.g. the one on the side of the coach).
It should be tested once a month, and there should be a sticker in the
panel to check off when tested. The panel mounted GFIs are normally
used in a case like this since one breaker can be used for numerous
locations (kitchen, bath and outdoors) rather than separate GFI receptacles.

Actually a GFI equipped plug for the whole trailer is not a bad idea,
but can be a real PITA when there are "nuisance" trips.
