Bud, I have just bought an Equal-i-zer hitch and am
very pleased with its performance.  I used a Reese
dual-cam prior but because the the heavy hitch weight
of my new Classic, I needed to upgrade.

I can tell you that there are fans out there of each
of the hitches you named and I did much of the same
study you did.  I did a lot of Internet searches to
"alt" groups and the bottom line to all of this is
there are folks who will tell you that their hitch is
the best.  I looked for problems and didn't find any,
and went with my choice.  

If cost is no object then most folks say go Hensley. 
Each hitch has their own qwirks, issues, and good and
bad points.  You won't get hurt with any of the brands
you noted and you can probably add Reese dual-cam into
the mix.  The key is getting good sway control and
most folks favor these manufacturers.

A lot has to do with the kind of tow vehicle you own,
your trailer, and the expertise of the folks who
install the hitch.  You can have a great hitch and
have an installer set it up incorrectly, and you will
have the worst towing experience of your life. 
Likewise if you have the wrong tow vehicle.  The best
hitch made will not make up for the shortcomings of a
mismatched vehicle.

Do your home work, search the archives here, look at
some of the other Airstream internet sites, use the
Google search engine and do some searches like
"Hensley vs. Reese", or "Equal-i-zer vs. Reese".  You
will find lots of information and discussion.  You
will soon pickup what is good and what isn't.
