Sam,

I would not waste my money on the Kensington device.  Yes it will find 
2.4GHz radio signals, however it can't tell if the signal is a web entry 
point or just a LAN.  Also you will have to use the laptop to verify that 
the entry point is not secured.  All in all it is as easy to use a wi-fi 
enabled laptop along with webferret or one of the other site locaters, then 
you know you have a good access point.
