Re: [A/S] Re: Couch Drawer Question

Lot's of good ideas here.

I'll add another. Related to the topic of access under the couch. I
have the rear Queen bed in my 31, and all those drawer under it are
fairly hard to get at. I had though about setting it up to also lift
the whole of the bed platform up on strut. similar to those that hold
up a car hood or trunk lid. With this added access capability, I could
also get to the unused areas in the back a little easier. I t would
still require getting up, but simply moving a relase lever to open would
be slick, it wouls move up on it's own for example. I had though about
the same for the front couch, if/when I ever get to building the "L"
configuration that I've seen in other floorplans.

The front version might be with a twist though, I had thought about
raising the whole of the sitting surface along with the containers, which
would become shelves, up high enough to just reach in a grab, or put
things. then just puch the whole thing back down and into it's sitting
position, out od the way. I think I can even set this up and still
maintain the pullout part for the bed setup. I still need to figure out
the mechanics, of the linkage system, which might become comewhat heavy
in the end. I was just a thought along the lines of ease of access.
