 I was just looking in my Suburban furnace book and if the design of 
your furnace is the same as the one in my 85, it will have two 
squirrel cage fans in it. The motor is 12 volt and has a shaft 
running out each end. there is one large fan on one end and a small 
fan on the other end. You have to take the furnace out and then it 
still is no picnic getting it apart , but you can. I hope this helps.
