Jeff - I just came across two books titled "Mountain Directory West" and
"Mountain Directory East".
They are advertised as offering information on more than 700 mountain passes
and steep grades in the U.S.
It specifically mentions that they include"grade percentage" information.

I don't know a thing about them - but they sound potentially interesting.

Has anyone out there used these guides?
