OK, I have to brag: on the wagon wheel caravan through NE, Tom Howard's
34' AS Motor home was stuck in a grassy field. Guess who pulled him out
? when a lady drove into the newly seeded lawn at a museum near me and
was up to her elbows in mud, guess who pulled her out. heh heh Darth
Vader '96 dodge 2500diesel 4x4 long bed king cab big bad black truck.
Whose tranny couldn't take the Kangamangus highway in the heat ? Darth
VAder needed a beer after that but still shifting.
On the subject of taking monsters into the city. First go to a parking
lot and practice knocking over things until you know where the truck is
and then go for it. I feel like Moses parting the Red Sea in Boston
traffic. NYC is hardball, but a truck that big scares most drivers.
Especially if you tromp on it once quick, the torque will make the truck
lurch a little as if it is trying to get away from you. This is way too
much fun.
