Gary:

         All newer trailers have low-point drains, I believe.  I have a 
1995 Excella; it has two low-point drain petcocks (metal), accessible from 
between the curbside tires (and, a plastic one for the fresh-water 
tank).  My older trailer, a 1972 Safari, did not have them.  So, at least 
*some* trailers don't have them.  I don't know about the 1985 model, but 
the manual should have a section about winterizing, and if it does, then it 
will mention the drains, if your trailer has them.
