[A/S] Battery Charging

just a quick question. I'm leaving for FL soon. if I dry camp a few nights, 
ie Wall-Mart. Does driving all day charge up the batteries (2-AGM) just curious 
as I remember reading on the list that the tow vehicle really doesn't charge 
the battery's that well. (if so another reason to get the solar panels) I 
usually watch 2-3 hrs of DirecTV on the LCD TV and run the water pump for morning 
shower. I had always thought that a days worth of driving would top up the 
batteries?
