By '79, vinyl clad aluminum was used on the interior walls (Ithink).

This was supposed to be an improvement on Zolotone......

Your bulkheads are plastic with a printed design to match the vinyl. 
Well,they were any way.

If you have paint on there, it was added, and if it's still sticking 
well to the vinyl, you can probably do anything you want, with proper 
surface prep of course.

I would test the degreaser stuff in an out of the way place, first. It 
might cause the existing paint layer and vinyl to have terrible acne.
