My Mercedes is an inline diesel fiver.

I have (had) a 1980 Mercedes 300D.  This automobile has traveled about
230,000 miles.  It gets over 30 air-conditioned miles per gallon on the
cheapest diesel fuel I can find.  It is a five cylinder 89 horsepower
non-turbo.  The car is all original and has had absolutely no trouble at
all.  Now really off topic. This year I gave it to my young son as his first
car.  The parents of the other kids in the neighborhood have ponied up PT
cruisers,  Ford 350 trucks, Durangos and Tahoes.  The kid with the antique
Mercedes has the hit ride of the whole bunch.
