  Hi,,,, Don't cover it. The wind will cause the cover to eat away at 
the coating. I don't use poison. I don't want dead critters in my 
trailer. I use the simplest of things for all my seasonal storage. 
Moth balls. A great repellant. The only problem is that the smell 
bothers some people. It works for us. Camper, snowmobiles, garden 
tractor, stored anything. Good luck. Think warm. Arnie
