first, drill a small hole at each end of the crack to keep it from
spreading; then go find a marine hardware/supply store and get yourself a
small can of 'marine-tex'... it's a kind of two-part epoxy like 'bondo', for
marine applications. the stuff hardens like steel, and is perfect for your
application. When you apply it, make sure that you have it spread on fairly
smoothly - it will be a lot harder than the adjacent fiberglass, so the
least amount of sanding you have to do, the better. You can put some gel
coat over it to better conceal the repair, if you'd like.
