Hi Jerry, welcome to the best fun ever.

I'm guessing that Inland RV   http://www.inlandrv.com/    will be your 
best bet for parts, unless you can find a local place that has old 
Airstream parts. Not too many of those around.

The Hot water heater can be a regular new one, just save the old door so 
you can put it back on instead of the one that comes with the new one. A 
lot of the guts of Airstreams are the same as other RV's and a regular 
RV place with any brains can work on them just fine.
